Flies...

Flies, the essentian weapon of any good fly fisherman. Having said that, it is important to remember that it is not only the fly which helps the angler to achieve success. It is a combination of several factors such as the line used, the stripping technique, and the location the fly is fished.

For example, if one was fishing a prawn pattern over sandbanks, and was stripping it in quickly, he probably wouldn't catch. This is since a prawn does not naturally move like this. Always remember to strip your line, so that the fly behaves like the species you are trying to immitate. And if you don't know what you're immitating, you're doing something wrong.
